We visited yesterday (Saturday) for the first time. We were seated quickly in the bar area and the waiter was friendly and attentive. Surprised that they didn't bring the bread with the water and that it didn't come until we had the calamari appetizer, which was above average. The salad, served family style, was ok - suitable but not memorable. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Caprese and my friends both ordered the Capellini Pomodoro. The shrimp was excellent - flavorful and truly the highlight of the evening. The angel hair pasta, unfortunately, was limp, overcooked, and bland. Both my friends were disappointed with the Pomodoro - one said that it tasted like baby food pasta. The other commented she would not be returning. If rating only on the food, I would have only given it two stars but the service was surprisingly good, at least on this one occasion. Unlikely to return, for reasons stated above and because they do not take reservations. There was great excitement here about the placement of an Olive Garden in our area, which baffles me. This is chain restaurant food, no better or worse. There are far better choices, Visconti's being one of them and eating at home with friends being another.

Not a big fan of chain restaurants, but I (guiltily) admit I'm pretty happy about this addition to Wenatchee. As we all know the food isn't eye-rolling great, but it is consistent and I'm glad to have a quick place to stop for a soup and salad lunch. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes, but have never been with a big group.

Great meal and great service. Will definitely come back!! We had lasagna and the Italian trio. Server offered us additional bread and salad which we loved. Porta Vita Rosso wine was fabulous; had some to take home.

I used to really love this place but the last 2 times I have been here the food was so so greasy and cold. There were also mistakes made on our meals so either our waitress wasn't listening or wasn't relaying or requests (like my request for gluten free pasta, thanks but that can make me very ill). I don't know if they have new staff in the last six months or what but I won't be going back. One time I can understand, my husband used to be a cooperate trainer for another popular upscale chain restaurant in town, so I get that kitchens have bad nights. Twice though, I'm done. Bad kitchen management and poor quality control/expedition.

We had a wonderful experience today the food was good as usual but the waiter made our dinner. It was a little slow getting our salad and bread sticks but it could be because the large party in the back. Mike Stewart was our waiter and he deserves commendation for his great service.

We stopped in here for dinner while we were in town and had a great experience. We were seated immediately when we got there. Our server (Anthony) was very attentive and friendly. He took the time to familiarize us with the new touchscreen kiosk at the table and was happy to answer our questions. The food service was quick and both of our dishes were exceptional. I ordered the Shrimp Fettuccini and my wife ordered the build-your-own pasta. The fettuccini sauce was rich and creamy and the shrimp was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. For special occasions like this, we usually order a somewhat specialized drink (Strawberry Amaretto Daiquiri) and the bartender (Heather) absolutely nailed it! This was by far the BEST that we've ever had... ANYWHERE! Great experience, we'll be back next time we're in town.

A consistent meal at a consistent price; no surprises, no disappointments. The staff was friendly as always, the restaurant was clean as always. Yes, a solid 4 stars. Why not 5? The menus are confusing, there were three different ones on the table, with many overlaps. It was lunch time on Sunday, we had to ask for a lunch menu, they presented a dinner menu with larger portions and higher prices. So, now we have 4 menus, yikes. Nothing beats Olive Garden if you want predictable, standard American-Italian food. Don't go there if you want exciting, authentic cuisine. So, for Olive Garden, the Wenatchee one will delight you.

Service was slow, bread and salad took 20 min to come out, they were out of tomatoes. Most Italian restaurants know how to make spaghetti carbonara this olive garden had no idea what it was.

I've been here several times. This is a pretty standard Olive Garden. Nothing to write home about, but an easy go-to if you're in the mood. I utilize the take out option often. I enjoy the food for the most part, but would rather eat at home.

i went here a few days ago with my client who I take care of. the two star rating is because even though it was crazy busy, we got seated right away. i used to love this restaurant, so i was very bummed with my visit a few days ago. my client ordered a meatball and spaghetti meal. i specifically said no spice and it was terribly hot so he was having a hard time eating it. confronted the waitress and she was pretty rude about it. so my client said he would just eat it. i got my fav, and eggplant parmesan and said no cheese...and they put cheese. we waited for our waitress to come back to refill our drinks, but she didn't even do that:( i was very bummed how bad our visit was. spent all that money on eating a good meal, and we didn't really get that. update: 7-29-2014 Chris, the owner was so apologetic. i think it was really nice of him to care so much about his customers who come into eat. i appreciate his kindness. i Will come back and see how my next visit is.

Well I reviewed OG awhile ago and thought I'd update. - Went there when they had a special where you pick out the pasta combo you want. I forget the name of the pasta I had but they look like large tubular elbow macaroni. I ordered a red sauce that was supposed to have red pepper & be spicy. I also ordered sausage meatballs in it. I was not impressed. The sauce was so thin that I literally could not taste it on the pasta. The meatballs were a bit hard, overcooked. An older family member likes to go here so I bring her. I think I'll stick to the breadsticks, soup, and salad. Those are o.k. All I can figure is that people like OG because its possible to fill yourself till you're stuffed to the gills, for fairly cheap.

I wanted to celebrate my wife's Birthday with all our kids and grandkids so went out of my way to call a good day in advance to make reservations for 14pp. The employee who answered the phone went out of her way to double check with the manager before booking our group. She even wanted my phone number with name. I was glad to a give it. Olive Garden DROPPED the BALL. We showed up with a good $400 to spend on the evening and they offered small tables and even offered to let us wait for something to open up. We took our money and left for a local restaurant rather than this chain outfit. Sorry Olive Garden. Ray Allen the manager just called me and apologized profusely. I had to apologize too. Standing in his lobby with 14 family members around me brought the worst out of me. For that reason, I apologize too. I told the manager my whole family liked the Olive Garden including me and we will be back.

I got the endless pasta for $8.95 and endless meat for $2.95. My first choice: Whole Wheat Linguine with Roasted Mushroom and Parmasean with sundried tomatoes & Italian Sausage. It tastes excellent I loove the flavors, the creamy richness with the mushrooms and sundried tomatoes, the italian sausage brings it to a whole new level of flavor. 5 stars :-) Second Choice: Orecchiette Pasta, Roasted Mushroom Parmasean with Sundried Tomatoes, and Roasted Chicken. I LOVE, LOVE this pasta its small and rounded so it mops up the sauce perfectly, the roasted chicken is good, it could use that "something" else flavor?? But otherwise it is good :-) 5 stars After 2 rounds I am STUFFED, I was full after the first round, not I am painfully full. But I loved every bite :-) our waitress was phenominal, she had an excellent attitude, was super nice, and was fully on to of making sure our drinks were filled and if we needed refills on our food. She was just super fantastic, a real gem that could teach other various restraunts we've been to a thing or two on customer service and positive attitude. She has earned her tips (money and yelp) from my husband and I this evening :-)

One of our favorite haunts, we must admit to it! Most often it is for the soup and salad which are bottomless (like my stomach used to be). Recently, however, we happened onto the mixed grill. With tasty buds of beef and chicken, the garnish of grilled onions, peppers, and various selections of summer squash, our tastebuds are fulfilled...and whet in anticipation for the next visit. Our server was quite personable and inviting. She did her job well. But what I liked most about her was the comments which exposed her deep deep respect for her father and mother, as well as the rest of her family. I really like that she allowed us this insight into herself. She was an excellent server! Yursenia-look her up! She is great. I chose stuffed rigatoni with Italian sausage. It was bathed in a creamy tomato-infused alfredo sauce...an orange sauce, if you will. Excellently spiced and herbed, as was my wife's standby mixed grill. We ate. We also boxed and will finish our Epicurian delights tomorrow. Great meal! During the meal, our youngest son and our daughter-in-law sent a couple of wonderful pics of our granddaughter dressed for Christmas. In the background was their lovely Christmas tree. What a great meal with the wonderful pics of our Baby-Love Paige.

The food seems up to par with the chain. The last time i went for a to-go order....4 servers were at the front counter, very relaxed and inattentive. Two of them were looking at something on a cell phone. I think they could have been more productive in their downtime.

Stopped here for lunch and ate in the bar. I wish I could give this place 5 stars. The only reason I'm not is because of the annoying, loud bible study session going on in the booth next to us. The servers are nice and the food is filling and cheap.

Ate there last Saturday. Great service but the food is only mediocre for the price and the place is so loud its hard to carry on a conversation with someone at your table. I know full well that these chain restaurant's (EEG. Applebee's, Red Robin, Red Lobster) meals are mostly cooked from frozen. I ordered the mix grill hoping for something a little more fresh. The meat and vegetables were done nicely but the reconstituted, gel-like "sauce" that was poured over them was awful. My husband ordered a steak and pasta dish. Can you say "grissel". With 2 meals and 2 drinks at $68 (with tip to the nice server), I'd rather eat at Garlinis or Viscontis. About the only thing this place is good for is the salad and bread. For that, I can eat at home for a lot less.

Yay! An Olive Garden in Wenatchee!! Finally! My friend and I came here on a Tuesday night, hoping that we might be able to get in without the hour wait I've been hearing about. Unfortunately, even at 8pm, we were told there would still be an hour wait. We figured no problem, we'll just take the pager to the mall across the parking lot. Let me tell you! That pager is awesome, it worked all the way to the Macy's Department store! It definitely beats waiting in that crammed lobby/foyer! This restaurant has been open a little over a week when we came here. Our wait only took a little over 1/2 an hour. We were quickly seated and greeted by our waitress. The salad and breadsticks did take a while, but the waitress was quick and attentive to refill our salad and breadsticks without hesitation. The food was excellent, hot, delicious, and flavorful, the customer service was awesome! When our drinks were empty or low, another wait staff would come by and ask if we wanted a refill.... oh I love them! The only negative thing was we were too full to sample the dessert menu... we decided maybe next time, we'll do dessert first, than dinner?? lol, I just hope it stays like this, cause they will be seeing a lot more of me!

Are you kidding me people. It's olive garden. Eat here or eat in Seattle, San Diego, heck.. Dubai. You have the same crappy "peusdo" cardboard cutout Italian. It's garbage. Garbage. Never again! I don't know why I waste my time with this place. Go to grocery store. Buy some prego cream sauce, over-cook your noodles.. And what you have is Olive Garden.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
